Children’s Service Agent – LE3
Ace Appointments Midlands Ltd are seeking experienced Children’s Service Agents for a client based in Leicester.
Working hours: Monday – Friday 08:30am – 17:00pm (1 hour break either full or split in the day)
Work location: LE3, Leicester
The successful candidate will predominately be handing calls for First Response Children’s Social Services. For this reason, strong telephone experience is essential as the majority of time will be spent on the phone. This is an office based role.
Must have experience of communicating with children and young people and their families and professionals from different agencies.
Must have experience of working in stressful environments and within a team
Must have experience of handling sensitive information and accurate recording
Must have an understanding of children and their families and their needs including services available.
To act as the first point of contact for Children’s Social Care and Early Help Service Users, by phone, email, web, fax or post.
To work with a range of internal and external agencies to ensure the safeguarding of children and young people and referral to services to achieve the best outcomes for the child.
Provide the best quality service for all First Response Children’s Duty service users, maintaining professional standards and responding to queries appropriately.
