Ace Appointments Midlands Ltd are recruiting for an experienced and professional Wood Machinist Service Engineer for a client based in Leicestershire.

 

This is a permanent opportunity to work as a service engineer for an established and expanding business.

 

Working Hours:40 Hours per week
Monday – Thursday 08:00am – 17:00pm
Friday 08:00am – 15:45pm

A flexible approach to working hours is appreciated as overtime may be required during busy periods.

 

Holiday entitlement 20 days plus all statutory bank holidays.
Our client is an experienced and trusted supplier of woodworking machinery and has been providing clients with an outstanding service for over 30 years. We are seeking an accomplished and eager individual to join their dynamic team. Our client offers excellent working conditions and ongoing training. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills as continuing to build and maintain client relationships is of great importance to our client.

 

The successful candidate will hold a full clean driving licence and will be provided with a company van.

 

Excellent working knowledge of woodworking machinery is essential to the job role and as mentioned before, the ability to build and develop client relationships is highly advantageous. Previous experience within electronics and mechanics is highly desirable with proven experience in servicing / maintaining woodworking machinery.

 

Job Duties include:

 

  • Working in our clients workshop and on site with various clients. This will include responding to call outs by clients to attend to faulty or damaged machinery ensuring that it is quickly repaired to ensure our clients production / manufacturing process can continue smoothly and effectively
    Assembly and installation of custom / bespoke machinery
  • Service of machinery and at times training the client to ensure a full understanding of how to operate the machine in order to achieve optimum and desired outcome
  • Fault finding & repair of woodworking machinery
    The role is offering an immediate start and will require the ideal candidate to attend a face to face interview.
