Resedential Social Care Workers (Child Care Worker)
Ace Appointments Midlands Ltd. are recruiting for an experienced and committed Residential Child Care Worker for a client based in Nottinghamshire (NG9).
Our client is a local authority secure children’s home who provides secure care, education and specialist interventions for vulnerable young people between 10 and 17 years of age.
This is a temporary contract. The successful candidate will be required to slot into a flexible rota for 3 months including week end work).
Working hours: 30 hours guaranteed plus additional overtime available weekly.
Pay rate is £9.33 plus premium rates and overtime!
The successful candidate will be supporting and helping vulnerable young people remain safe. Co-parenting will also offer the opportunity to deliver focused interventions building confidence, aspirations, achievement and self-esteem.
Caring for children looked after will also require the resilience and mindfulness to understand complex and sometimes challenging behaviour in a person-centred manner.
Previous experience is preferable. A level three Diploma in the child and work force development would is essential.
